Louisiana Fried Chicken was created and developed by Joe Dion. After a decade of experience with Jack-in-the-Box and Pioneer Chicken franchises, Joe decided to start his own. Over a year in development, LFC was born out of many research trips to New Orleans and experimentation in the family garage. The first store opened in August of 1976 in Los Angeles and the response by the public was so overwhelming that 10 company stores were established by 1979. Joe sold his stores and began licensing the trademark and recipes to independent operators. The different regions of LFC are a wholly owned licensee with exclusive rights to franchises in the state of which it occupies. Building on 28 years of traditions, Louisiana Chicken will offer customers the famous recipe of highly seasoned baked and fried chicken, as well as seafood selections. A full selection of side dishes will compliment the choice of entrees. As the customer base is established, Louisiana Chicken will expand beyond the city limits to neighboring cities and into the surrounding metropolitan areas with the intentioned of gaining a large portion of the market share from it’s competing quick service counter-parts.. LFC believes the key elements to this are through excellent great tasting food and extraordinary customer service. |
